Reiki For AnimalsReiki is generally provided for people. But animals are like people as they also experience, depression, pain, and hurt for example. I believe emotional issues can also affect an animal’s behaviour, health and wellbeing.
Tracy welcomes small pets (dogs & cats etc) to be brought to her property for a session however, for larger animals she can make a visit to the property for an extra $40 fee. Even when touch is not possible on these large farm animals Reiki is still able to be effective. In my experience, I have found animals to be more open than people to this natural and complementary modality. |

We called the vet to attend a cow in February 2011 that was in my expectation likely to die. Let it be understood that after seventeen years full time farming cows that should live, don't and cows that should die, also don't. This needs to be noted in the interests of integrity and honesty.
The vet visit gave no obvious diagnosis and no obvious prognosis. Tracy Wood was with us on the day and asked if we might allow her to perform Reiki on this cow. I said yes because there was nothing to lose and I was still seeing a cow that didn't have any symptoms. This in itself is always a bad symptom. The vet will have treated with some form of antibiotic to cover infection.
The end result is the cow is still in the herd milking and will have calved to do this. Please let the ready draw conclusion for themselves. Tracy is however trustworthy by character and a pleasure to know.

I had a heavy in-lamb ewe that was a month away from lambing. She had become very stressed when the sheep had been brought in for shearing. She was unable to stand up and her head and neck had become 'all floppy' and she had a lot of mucus around her nostrils with very heavy 'laboured' breathing. I gave her some penicillin and Tracy gave her a Reiki treatment. Within a couple of days the ewe made a full recovery. I was very surprised at the ewe's recovery.
I also had a nicely marked grey and white bull calf that had been scouring quite badly and also it had a lump on its rear leg. It had become quite sickly. Tracy gave it four Reiki treatments as well as some more treatments by distance healing and the calf made a full recovery.
I have had other claves that I did not expect to survive and I have been very pleased that with the benefit of Reiki they did survive.
